Discreet side pockets sewn into the gowns? This could just be a really good selling point in my opinion. Coupled with lace, tulle, and appliqués, Reem Acra’s Fall Winter 2015 is simply beautiful and thoughtful.
With your morning coffee in hand, do scroll down to see my favourites from the collection. The show happened on 10 October 2014. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead! Photos: The Knot
I am a fan of Christos. I’ve written about the brand previously and given a chance, I would wear a Christos gown if I were to get married all over again. So it’s no surprise that I’d be featuring it again starting with their Fall 2015.
The things I love about the collection: it was all about white lace, a stark contrast to the colour of Spring 2015. Here we a see a softer shade of lace, of satin, of silk. Patchwork. Intricate. Romantic. All the things we can’t say “No” to, right?

Sometimes we see dresses from the runway and we wish we can wear something like that to an occasion. Like some of you, I look on to designer collections for inspiration and design ideas. Elie Saab is a Lebanese designer who is able to inspire his customers. He is indeed on the wish list of most of us. For this collection, he featured soft white dresses with sprinkles of black and fuchsia print. Then to add to the mix of the soft palette, he added salmon and emerald with my favourite combination of lace and sequins.
Today I wish to share my favourite designs from his collection. Here’s a glimpse of his latest work for Spring Summer 2014. Thank you for dropping by, have a great week ahead. Featured designer: Elie Saab
Awhile back I featured the same-day-edit of Paul and Lala’s wedding by Ian Cruz Films and I couldn’t wait to see the pictures. Over the weekend, I received the beautiful wedding pictures so you could imagine my excitement to feature today’s post.
Oly Ruiz of Metrophoto photographed Lala’s natural relaxed state and captured Paul’s overwhelming happiness. The bride’s aura truly came out in their pictures and I just love it when a bride is so calm but you know deep down, she’s at peace with herself and having a fantastic time. And let’s not forget her wedding dress made by Veluz, it was elegant and fitting for a beautiful bride.
Excited to share them with you, here are the wedding pictures from Metrophoto.
If you’re not prepared to see some beautiful bridal dresses and insanely gorgeous details, I suggest you skip this post. But I know you have a soft spot for intricate and lavish dresses like I do. As I was going through these photos from Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner – Fall 2013 Bridal Collection, I couldn’t help but wish I can wear one of these dresses and get married again! To add to the pretty-factor, these dresses have timeless silhouettes that won’t make you regret twenty years down the road.
This is my first post on wedding dresses (I feel there will be more later on) and I’m loving these designs because they’re simply beautiful and elegant, two words I’ve learned to stick by when I was planning our wedding. It’s so easy to get distracted with so much options out there. I was so happy with how my wedding dress turned out. I’ll be sharing that with you very soon. For now here’s our edited list for Lela Rose, Theia White, and Anna Maier.
Lela Rose is a designer who loves romantic silhouettes and embraces femininity.
Today marks my first major wedding inspiration board. This post features romanticism through lace, white and cream clusters, blush and lilac, and an ethereal mood to your wedding day. I love how lace captures the romantic mood of the theme and how it subtly gives such a beautiful and detailed finishing to the wedding dress.
Here is the inspiration feature for Lace and Ethereal.
