Hello there beautiful friends, I’m back! It has been busy lately with the daily grind but I’m delighted to kickstart the weekend with a wedding feature that’s simple and laid-back, and has all that bright and airy feel we love in wedding photos. Thanks to wedding photographer Paul Espino for sending this our way – we’re able to see a glimpse of his wonderful work. Do check his website for more of his work but in the meantime, scroll down slowly and get in the mood for some inspirational details!
Temperature is rising and summer officially kicks in! What better way to welcome it than with today’s must-see wedding. Set in Chapel on a Hill in Tagaytay, Liam and Cath wed in a beautiful church and had their reception in Hacienda Isabella, a sprawling garden tucked away from the bustling city. Cath was in a beautiful lace design by Rhett Eala and Liam was dapper and all-smiles seeing his bride walk down the aisle. My favourites from this set captured by Cherryblocks were the portraits of the couple and the bright and airy feel of the photographs. To top it off, the bride incorporated a couple of DIYs in the reception, making it truly their own reflective of the couple’s fun and easygoing personalities.
Be sure to take time to scroll down these photos as I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week ahead!

Today is a lucky day for us! We get a look into this gorgeous black tie affair of Martin and Stefanie’s wedding. These photos with a dramatic black and white play taken by Mangored transforms the couple’s wedding into a cinematic-flair that not only evokes a unique perspective but also a style that I can only guess is reflective of the couple and nobody else.
In this set, I love the photo where the bride exchanges an intimate moment with her bridesmaid as well as how confident the bride and groom stand on their most special day! I hope you will enjoy these lovely pictures as much as I did – and I hope you get an inspirational thought or two perhaps. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
It’s been awhile since my last post. I had to go to Manila for back-to-back weddings and boy was that fun! It was so good to see family and friends again. Now I’m back and I am so thrilled to be blogging again. Let’s start the weekend right with these beautiful photos once again from Mango Red. The wedding of Pao and Irish was truly filled with radiant cheer and elegance. The dress from Ritchie Ortega-Torres was stunning and seeing the bride walk down the aisle lined with baby’s breath flowers is a personal favourite.
I hope you will enjoy this feature as much as I did!
Advice from the bride: Wedding planning, just like the wedding itself, is an experience to be shared. Taking on the task alone can be quite daunting so don’t hesitate to seek help from your family and friends, and of course, your husband-to-be. Get them involved in activities like oculars and food-tastings – these will prove to be productive.

A couple of things I like in an engagement shoot are naturalness from the couple and a good location. So here is my first post for an engagement shoot featuring real couple, Carlo and Angie and captured by Aaron Ebio Photography. This was taken in Bonifacio Global City in the Philippines and I have to say this shoot is a breath of fresh air. Indeed the photos are clean and simple yet worthwhile to keep for memories to last a lifetime.
Here are the photos from Aaron Ebio.
Oh what I’d do to head back to the beach of my lovely Philippines, to soak in the warm water with feet underneath the soft sand. Today’s wedding brings us to beautiful Boracay with these photographs from MangoRed which are simply gorgeous! The blue-green water and light blue sky painted a perfect backdrop against the scenic peninsula. All these worked seamlessly well with the wedding of Nick and Sheeva, from the bride’s dress down to the invitation font and lettering. To add dainty to nature, a palette of pastel pink for the entourage made it such a cheerful gathering with family and friends. Really, what more can the couple ask for?
Such a joy to wake up to this lovely set of photographs, the kind where you can feel the happiness and joy between Nick and Sheeva. Come and stay awhile to see what I am talking about.

People cross your path for reasons. On my first day of college, I sat beside Alex for orientation in the auditorium. We exchanged names, we found out we lived in the same city, we had the same course, and the rest is history. Two years later, she introduced me to my husband. I can never forget that day – even after 11 years it’s become a past time of hubby and I to talk about it and make fun of each other. But that’s for another story.
Fast forward to October 2013, Alex got married to the love of her life and her best friend. Their celebration was full of love and happiness. She was blooming in her wedding dress by Joe San Antonio. As a bride, Alex was 100% hands on with so many details, so I knew the amount of work they placed to creating such a beautiful day. As her friend, I was honoured to be part of it.
The bright and sunny photos were taken by Jorem and Sheila Catilo. The couple wed in St. John Bosco Parish in Makati City and then dinner and dancing in 1Esplanade. True to Alex-fashion, a color palette of seafoam green and coral pink was chosen for the day. The reception styling showcased green hedges with white framed mirrors and vintage lamps on centerpieces – who better to execute this than k. by cunanan catering. Alex chose pink blooms for her bouquet and white flowers for the church.
Here are the beautiful photos from Jorem and Sheila Catilo followed by the same day edit from Ian Cruz Films who was able to tell their love story in the most natural way possible.
Advice to couples planning their wedding: All of the planning, money, and time put in over the entire year comes and goes in a flash the day of your wedding, so try to make this a good kind of stress and enjoy the whole process! Celebrate everytime you cross off a task in your to-do list because this will make you feel accomplished. The tension between unlimited wants and limited resources will always be there but focus on what matters most, be resourceful and squeeze out your creative juices! Always put in mind that it’s gonna be one of best days of your life.

I am beyond happy with this set of photos from Benjie Tiongco! The couple wed in the same church as I did so it has a special place in my heart and always will. But more than that, I am loving the natural light that Benjie shows in these photos and that he doesn’t fail to capture the details and decor of Karlo and Paz’s most special day. Shades of blue and cream naturally complement the colours of the surroundings – the light brown hues of the Church, the green and white flowers, and the bright blue sky. I love it when couples are able to choose the right colour palette and match it with the church and venues. Doing so results in gorgeous photographs – done right!
I sure hope these photos bring inspiration and sunshine on your day. Enjoy!
I am such a sucker for all things nature. So when Aaron Ebio sent in these breathtakingly gorgeous photos from Vince and Raschella’s wedding, I went straight to click download. The couple wed in a stone-built church atop a hill in Batanes, … Continue reading
Las Vegas is not only known for its lights, night life, fun and party. There are also beautiful spaces in the city that can be your backdrop for your most special day. Today’s wedding brought to us by Bordoy Photography showcases an intimate wedding of Freddie and Yves. The couple based in Singapore decided to have a destination wedding with most of their family members already living in the United States. Yves wore an off-shoulder dress with lace designed by Zandra Lim. The groom’s light grey suit is from CYC Custom Shop from Singapore. Born and raised in the Philippines, the couple opted to choose key suppliers such as photographer and dress designer to carry out their dream wedding while making sure that Filipino wedding traditions would be felt and documented throughout the day.
It’s not alway easy planning a wedding more so for Yves and Freddie who had to do most of communication through emails. After a year and half of planning, their wedding day was blessed with beautiful sunny weather and lots of love from family and friends. Come and see a glimpse of their wedding taken by Filipino wedding photographer, Bordoy Photography.

Every Friday I post about a real couple and today I’m excited to share this save the date video with you. It really made me smile under this gloomy weather we have. I like the last scene where the couple sat together, smiling without having to say anything to each other. Their different personalities and favourite couple-activities were captured by Reggie Baltazar as if he was actually telling us their story through this sweet and light-hearted video.
I enjoy seeing couples who take their time to create projects that capture memories of their milestones such as their engagement period. If you’re planning to make one, be sure to catch this video. I’m sure you’d get to steal an idea or two! Enjoy and have a lovely weekend ahead!

When I saw my friend Rachel’s wedding pictures, I was glued to the screen for the next few minutes. She was all smiles and truly happy on their wedding day and her husband, Nicolas looked content indeed. The couple wed in a church in Paris, Paroisse du Saint Esprit with family and close friends to witness the intimate and sweet celebration. The reception took place in Le Chalet des Iles Daumesnil where the guests had cocktails and enjoyed the scenery before the dinner reception. The day wasn’t complete without dancing. Rachel glowed in her dress from Hanau Soft by Rosa Clara.
What I love about this wedding is that Rachel mentioned a lot of the decor was DIY! It was tasteful and everything coordinated well. See how beautiful everything turned out with these photos taken by Emma Rodrigues Photography.
See this video from The White Shack which captured all the pretty details from getting ready, heading to the Church, and the fun celebration that it surely was.
From the Bride: If you decide to plan your wedding without a coordinator, don’t fret and stress too much. Be sure to step back and delegate as much as you can. We’re lucky to have our entourage help us and they did a fantastic job on our big day!
Awhile back I featured the same-day-edit of Paul and Lala’s wedding by Ian Cruz Films and I couldn’t wait to see the pictures. Over the weekend, I received the beautiful wedding pictures so you could imagine my excitement to feature today’s post.
Oly Ruiz of Metrophoto photographed Lala’s natural relaxed state and captured Paul’s overwhelming happiness. The bride’s aura truly came out in their pictures and I just love it when a bride is so calm but you know deep down, she’s at peace with herself and having a fantastic time. And let’s not forget her wedding dress made by Veluz, it was elegant and fitting for a beautiful bride.
Excited to share them with you, here are the wedding pictures from Metrophoto.
If I were to get married again, Bali would definitely be one of my top choices. It’s a favourite destination of marrying couples, and who wouldn’t fall in love with the place! Today’s wedding from Ian Santillan Photography shows how beautiful and scenic a wedding in Bali can be. Karlo and Pia’s celebration was intimate, no frills, natural and relaxed written all over. Starting with the gorgeous dress designed by Rajo Laurel, what a sight! His fine beadwork goes unnoticed and he surely knows how to make the bride stand out. The groom’s attire was a great match to the bride and their natural surroundings.
Stay seated and enjoy these photos from Ian Santillan Photography.
Hacienda Isabella is a beautiful spot south of Manila, tucked away from the hustle and busy streets. It was one of my options for our wedding reception. We loved this place because of its rustic and garden appeal. So imagine my surprise when we came across Killian and Gen’s wedding. The photos captured by Really Awesome Weddings are modern and bright, highlighting the bride’s dress details. Check out the personalized ribbon on gifts and the one of a kind entourage dresses. To top it off, the green flowers were a breath of fresh air! I love this wedding and I’m sure you will too!
