Hi! I’m Tina, editor and owner of Purplelue Wedding Blog. The number 1 question I am asked is “Why purplelue?” Because purple is my favourite colour and I added “lue” for no specific reason other than it’s cute, short, and easy to remember. I also wanted my blog to be not too serious. I want to inspire and hopefully share some really good and practical information. Posts are about planning basics, design inspiration, and supplier reviews. Features also include modern and stylish weddings of couples that share passion for creativity and elegant simplicity.

Through this blog, I hope to encourage you to express yourself as you plan your big day through crafts and DIY (do-it-yourself). Unless otherwise stated, the DIY projects shown here are done myself.  I enjoy making them and finding ways to use them for weddings and parties. I’ve also written articles under How To section to help you get started on planning  (Wedding Budget Planner – free download) and basic Catholic church requirements as well as tips on frequently asked questions such as Wedding Registry – how to make it work for you.

With most topics here wedding related, I also like searching for good talent that the readers could be inspired from. In showcasing talent, I always give due credit to the owners behind the photographs featured in this blog. For all materials submitted to this blog the sender gives rights to post and publish them. Unless otherwise stated, this editor is the owner and writer of this site’s content.

Let’s work together.

If you are a wedding supplier (photographer, videographer, designer, stylist), we can work together be it through a project collaboration. I welcome guest posts and press kits related to anything wedding, crafts, and DIY. I am constantly looking for talented suppliers to work with from the Philippines, Singapore and the region. If you would like to reach a broader market, send me an email and I’d be happy to check it out!

If you have Instagram-Purplelue and Twitter-Purplelue follow me for a quick feed on my blog posts. Feel free to contact me for more information. Thanks for your support!
